1. Introduction to Communication
1. IKON Drive PLC network communication features:
1.1 The CPU host has 2 communication ports (RS232+RS485), which can be extended to 5 communication ports. Each communication port can be programmed and networked, and can be used as a master station or a slave station. It supports 1:N, N:1, N:N networking mode, supports various man-machine interfaces and configuration software, and can be networked with any third-party device with communication function (frequency converter, instrument, bar code reader, etc.).
1.2 Powerful communication functions: All types of IKON Drive PLC hosts have built-in Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol, free communication protocol and IKON DriveBus high-speed communication protocol. This means that as long as the instrument supports one of the above three communication protocols, it can communicate with IKON Drive PLC.
1.3 Convenient communication command system: no matter what communication protocol you use, you can complete complex communication functions with only one communication command, and you don’t need to worry about communication port conflicts, sending and receiving control, communication interruption handling, etc. It is easy to complete various data exchanges you need by mixing various protocols in .
1.4 When IKON Drive PLC is used as a slave, do not write any program in the PLC.
2. Network communication characteristics of IKON Drive wireless module
2.1 The module does not need the user to configure Zigbee parameters, and can set up multiple independent communication networks only through the DIP switch (set PANID, coordinator or router identity) that comes with the module.
2.2 The support module can be powered on to restore the network after a power failure, and it can be used for a long time after one configuration.
2.3 The host computer can wirelessly upload and download programs, monitor and other operations to the PLC through wireless networking.
2.4 On the basis of the retransmission mechanism of the zigbee protocol itself, a response retransmission mechanism is added to the application layer. If the master station does not receive a reception response within a period of time, it will send data again, which further improves the stability of communication.

2.1 Introduction to Gateway
H01TCP-4 is a powerful hardware protocol gateway that converts various protocols from devices to standard Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP protocols. It is convenient for multiple protocol devices to conduct unified monitoring of networking. It is used for on-site Ethernet networking mode, which is convenient for configuration, touch screen and other on-board machines for networking monitoring.
H01TCP-4 has two network ports, the default IP address of network port 1 is 172.24.13.88 (fixed); the default IP address of network port 2 is 192.168.1.88. It comes with 4 isolated RS485 communication ports, supports a variety of communication protocols, and is convenient for users to set up a communication network.

2.2 H01ZB module introduction
H01ZB is an expansion module used to support wireless communication between PLC hosts, with simple parameter configuration.
The first five digits 1~5 of the DIP switch of the module are used to set the network ID, so 31 networks can be formed. In this example, all H01ZB modules in the network are used as routers, and the network ID settings can be set to the same. In this example, it is set to 1. Therefore, in the 1-5 digits dialing code, only need to set the No. 1 dial switch to ON. The rest are set to OFF.
2.3 Introduction of PC2ZB module
PC2ZB is an expansion module for wireless communication on the PC side. Through this module, the host computer software such as IKON Drive Happy and the PLC host extended with H01ZB can perform online, read and write operations in a wireless manner. The module is easy to use, and there is no need for users to configure zigbee parameters. Multiple independent communication networks can be formed through the DIP switch (setting PANID, coordinator or router identity) that comes with the module. The PANID of PC2ZB and H 01ZB can be set to be the same for easy networking. The above PANID of H01ZB is 1, so in this example, PC2ZB can also be set to 1.
The power supply voltage of PC2ZB is 5VDC. Generally, the USB port that comes with the module is used for power supply and the connection to the host computer can be done through USB/RS232/RS485. In this example, the gateway has 4 RS485 communication ports, so PC2ZB uses RS485 to communicate with the gateway, and connects pins 6 and 8 of the serial port to A1 and B1 of the gateway respectively.
In this example, the PC2ZB module is used as the coordinator, and the network ID is set to the same ID No. 1 as the H01ZB module, so just turn the 1st and 6th bits of the DIP switch to ON, and the rest are OFF.

4. H01TCP parameter setting (computer IP setting)
The gateway has two network ports. The default IP address of network port 1 is 172.24.13.88 (fixed). If you forget the IP address of network port 2, you can use network port 1 to restore the default IP address of network port 2 to 192.168. .1.88. When uploading and downloading programs, the IP parameters of the computer need to be set to the same network segment as the gateway. The following are the specific steps:
4.1 , Right-click Properties in Network Neighborhood

4.3 . Double-click TCP/IP, set the IP address of the host to be in the same network segment as the IP address of the gateway (the default IP address of port 2 of the gateway is 192.168.1.88), and click OK
Five, H01TCP software configuration
For the parameter settings of the gateway, only the main communication parameters are introduced here. For the rest of the detailed operations, please refer to the user manual of the gateway. 5.1 Double click the icon
5.2 Create a new driver, the N series host is used here, so select Haiwell HN PLC for the driver, name it Test, and click OK
5.3 Right-click the new channel, select the serial port (that is, the COM port above the gateway, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4), and select the COM1 port; because the parameters of the H01ZB and PC2ZB modules default to 38400, N, 8, 2, and also select here to the same parameters, click OK
The more important thing here is the selection of the 38400 baud rate, that is, the baud rate can be set to be the same as the default 38400 N 8 2 of PC2ZB.
