Therefore, the construction of sewage treatment plants has become a top priority. In recent years, the construction of small and medium-sized sewage plants (especially small sewage treatment plants) has been increasing. How to do a good job of small sewage treatment plants to make them develop towards a highly automated and unmanned direction has become a special concern of many experts and engineers. The problem. Zigbee is an emerging short-distance wireless communication technology, which has the characteristics of low power consumption, low cost, short distance, short delay, etc. IKON Drive PLC products are stable and have superior performance, and have gradually become the choice of many sewage treatment manufacturers. In this paper, IKON Drive PLC is used as the controller, and the wireless Zigbee module H01ZB, PC-side PC2ZB module and gateway newly developed by IKON Drive are used to introduce the application of IKON Drive PLC in small sewage treatment plants.

1. Sewage treatment process

Primary treatment: The sewage is initially removed by the inlet well through the coarse grid to remove large impurities, and then the sewage is lifted to a certain height in the lifting pump room to meet the overall potential energy requirements of the sewage treatment process. Then the sewage enters the fine grid function block, filters out the smaller suspended and floating objects, and reaches the grit chamber after the previous physical treatment.

Secondary treatment: Further treatment of refractory organic matter, soluble inorganic matter such as nitrogen and phosphorus that can lead to eutrophication of water bodies, etc., the commonly used A2/O method is used here. The A2/O method has the advantages of low operating cost and good effect of phosphorus and nitrogen removal. It is a sewage treatment process developed on the basis of the traditional activated sludge method. A2 is AA, and the former A stands for Anaerobic. Oxygen), the latter A stands for Anoxic (anoxic); O stands for (aerobic). A2/O is an anoxic-anaerobic-peroxidative wastewater treatment process.

Tertiary treatment: It consists of secondary sedimentation tank, disinfection equipment and sludge concentration and dehydration equipment. The disinfection equipment mainly needs ultraviolet or chlorination disinfection for the sewage containing virus and bacteria, and the targeted treatment of these sewage is carried out to make it meet the discharge standard. The sludge thickening equipment is to physically precipitate the sewage after the secondary treatment, and separate the sludge from the clean water; the main function of the sludge dewatering equipment is to dehydrate the activated sludge, mainly including a centrifugal dehydrator to complete the dehydration treatment. The sludge is directly transported to landfill.

2. The main hardware configuration of the system

2.1 , IKON Drive PLC

IKON Drive PLC host comes with 2 communication ports, which can be expanded to 5 communication ports. Each communication port can be programmed and networked, and can be used as a master station or a slave station. Supports 1:N, N:1, N:N networking, supports various man-machine interfaces and configuration software, and can be networked with any third-party equipment with communication functions (such as inverters, meters, bar code readers, etc.).

2.2 , H01ZB module

The HO1ZB module is an extension module used to support wireless communication between PLC hosts. The host that has expanded this module can use the MODR/MODW command to realize wireless read and write communication. A host can expand up to 3 communication interfaces (the expansion module model used can be H01ZB or S01RS and other communication expansion modules).

2.3 、PC2ZB module

PC2ZB is an expansion module for wireless communication on the PC side. Through this module, the host computer such as HaiwellHappy and the PLC host extended with H01ZB can perform online, read and write operations in a wireless manner. The module is easy to use, and there is no need for users to configure zigbee parameters. Multiple independent communication networks can be formed through the DIP switch (setting PANID, coordinator or router identity) that comes with the module.

3. System advantages

1. IKON Drive PLC programming software is fully simulated, and the analog quantity does not need to be converted between the code value and the engineering quantity through programming. It reduces the time for program writing and on-site debugging, facilitates the debugging work of technicians, and improves work efficiency.

2. Compared with wired networking, the construction and maintenance costs of using zigbee wireless protocol networking are greatly reduced. After the user has established a communication network, when they need to add new equipment, they do not need to add new communication lines. They only need to add the new equipment to the established wireless network to achieve system expansion and have better scalability.

After treatment, the sewage can be directly discharged when it meets the environmental protection requirements.
